No, people from all over the world are welcome to apply for EQUALFIN. We encourage anyone who is interested and meets the criteria. Yet, for being eligible for HBS funding, you need to have a document certifying that your German language skills; they have to be at the B2 level at the beginning of the fellowship.

PhD students are funded for three years and are expected to finish their PhD in this time.
